Larry Wheels

Larry Wheels went from living in extraordinary poverty as a kid to getting one of the most grounded powerlifters on the planet.

Growing up in poor neighborhoods of Bronx, New York, Larry’s childhood goal was to become stronger and bigger so nobody would bully him.

So as to accomplish his objective, Larry started doing push-ups, pull-ups, and sit-ups every single day. With the assistance of his mom, he later built himself a fundamental weight set consisting of two 40-lbs concrete blocks and a broomstick. With this weight set, he was able to do more complex exercises, such as biceps curls and military press. Allowing him to grow his physique further.

Quite a while later, Larry started working at his first job, which empowered him to afford a gym membership. Training in a whole new environment full of weightlifting equipment, Larry began witnessing tremendous progress on his physique.

After years of lifting weights, Larry took everything a step further to become a professional powerlifter. By 2017, he set two world records in the sport, becoming an inspiration for people along the way.
